By placing an order using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
All contracts formed between us for the purchase of items with this website shall be governed by English law and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

DELIVERY TIMES – many of our products are built to order, particularly marine quality instruments (these are prefixed M). After assembly the instruments are monitored for 24 hours on a testbed for accuracy. Therefore please allow 2 – 3 days from order placement to despatch from our workshop. If you require something urgently please do contact our office on 01579 363561 to discuss. We will do our utmost to assist. You will receive an email prior to despatch, confirming method and anticipated arrival date. If goods are sent by post (under 1kg) the precise date of delivery will be dictated by the efficiency of the postal services. For this reason FCC PRECISION cannot guarantee the precise date of receipt of any purchase. If you require a product for a specific date please contact the office on 01579 363561 to discuss.
DELIVERY CHARGES – any delivery charges will be shown before you are asked for final payment based upon weight.
DELIVERY METHODS Valuable and weighty items will be tracked to your door and for most of the UK, arrive within 48 hours of despatch (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays). The order will need to be signed for. You will be sent a confirmation email on the day your order is despatched, advising carrier and arrival date. Light, lower value products will normally despatched using Royal Mail (unless requested otherwise by you). The precise date of delivery will be dictated by the efficiency of the postal services. For this reason FCC PRECISION, cannot guarantee the precise date of receipt of any purchase if sent by Royal Mail.
ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT – FCC PRECISION will send an e-mail to the customer which confirms receipt and acceptance of the order that has been placed. At this point a contract will be deemed to exist between FCC PRECISION and the customer. Please check your email address is correct to make sure the order confirmation is sent to the right person.
DELAYS & AVAILABILITY If there is any anticipated delay in completing your order FCC PRECISION will advise within 24 hours of order placement (Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays). If the anticipated despatch date is not acceptable you may cancel the order. FCC PRECISION may make suggestions of goods of equivalent quality, if appropriate, for your consideration. If you are happy to wait for back order you will be kept informed and advised when delivery will be made.
PAYMENT FCC PRECISION accept payment by : Visa Credit Card, Visa Debit Card, Visa Electron, Mastercard Credit card and American Express Card. We operate though the SAGEPAY scheme so your information is protected within their system on a secure page and encrypted. FCC PRECISION does not see any of your card data, this is processed at SAGEPAY. All credit card and debit card payment are subject to validation checks and to authorisation from the card issuer. If the issuer of the customer payment card refuses to authorise payment, FCC PRECISION will not be liable for any delay or non delivery, but you will be notified. All payments are in GB£ Sterling
Tax Charges/ Local import duties and taxes remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
GUARANTEE FCC PRECISION guarantees the movements in our instrument for a period of 2 years from date of purchase. Proof of purchase will be required. Please ensure that instruments requiring a battery, have the battery replaced every 12 months to avoid leakage and invalidation of guarantee. Do not use rechargeable batteries for any of our products. This guarantee does not cover the case, frame or glass nor does it cover damage caused by accident, misuse or neglect. Please contact the office on 01579 363561 to discuss your problem. Sometimes it is possible to give advice over the telephone to resolve a problem. FCC PRECISION will not cover return carriage costs. Please obtain a Returns number from us prior to returning any product and ensure this RMR number is displayed on your package.
DAMAGED/FAULTY/INCORRECT ITEMS – If you receive an item that is damaged or missing any parts on arrival, you will need to notify us either by telephone on 01579 363561 or by email to email@example.com within 48 hours of delivery of the product. We will then advise our full returns procedure and undertake to rectify this issue as quickly as possible for you.
RETURNS POLICY – Changed your mind? Not quite what you had wanted? No problem telephone or email within 7 days of receipt and return within 14 days of purchase. We will give you a Returns Number to quote on your package – please make sure you include this otherwise it may delay your credit payment. Providing the order is received back to FCC PRECISION in its original condition and packaging an automatic refund of the purchase price will be made. In instances where customers are returning goods, FCC PRECISION recommend that customers retain a Certificate of Posting Receipt, in order to safeguard against the unlikely possibility that returned goods may go missing.
REPAIRS We can undertake most repairs for FCC PRECISION products. If you have an instrument that needs a repair please contact us, either by phone 01579 363561 or email firstname.lastname@example.org If possible give us a full description of your instrument, approximate age and the problem being experienced. We may be able to assist without your instrument being returned to us. If you need to return your instrument for inspection and estimate of work, you will be given a Returns Number. Please include this returns number on the information you send us including your contact detail.
